1. Queen Victoria Lookout

Queen Victoria Lookout is a small vantage point accessible via the Empress Falls Track and the Valley of the Waters Track in the western section of Wentworth Falls.

The walk to Empress Falls starts at the Conservation Hut, with Queen Victoria Lookout as the first scenic stop along the way.

Perched above the Valley of the Waters, the lookout offers beautiful views over the Jamison Valley. You can see Mount Solitary straight ahead, while Kings Tableland and Lincoln’s Rock appear to the left.

2. Jamison Lookout

Conveniently located next to the car park along the footpath beside the Sir H Burrell Drive loop, Jamison Lookout offers sweeping views of the Jamison Valley, stretching towards Mount Solitary and beyond.

While the waterfall isn’t visible from this vantage point, the stunning valley views are more than enough to spend some time here.

3. Princes Rock Lookout

Princes Rock Lookout is arguably the best vantage point in the area for viewing the entire waterfall.

There are two ways to reach this lookout. The easiest and quickest route is via the Princes Rock Walking Track, which starts from Sir H Burrell Drive near Wentworth Falls Lookout. From there, it’s an easy 1 km descent along a well-formed path.

Alternatively, you can reach the lookout via a section of the highly enjoyable Overcliff Undercliff Track.

4. Wentworth Falls Lookout

Like Jamison Lookout, the official Wentworth Falls Lookout offers scenic views of the Jamison Valley, but from a slightly different angle.

Situated along the eastern side of the Sir H Burrell Drive loop, it’s the first major lookout that provides glimpses of the waterfall. However, despite its name, this isn’t the best spot to see the waterfall in its entirety.

From the lookout, the main walking track, the Wentworth Falls Track, continues into the bush towards Fletchers Lookout where you’ll enjoy better views of the waterfall.

5. Fletchers Lookout

The small but scenic Fletchers Lookout offers a close-up view of the upper section of the waterfall, along with panoramic views of the Jamison Valley and the surrounding escarpments.

Signposted as a short side trail off the main Wentworth Falls Track, it’s an easy and worthwhile detour.

6. Rocket Point Lookout

Rocket Point Lookout sits on the opposite side of the waterfall and can be reached via a short side trail.

This trail starts just beyond the top of the waterfall, but many visitors tend to miss this lookout as the trail isn’t immediately obvious. That’s a shame because the views from Rocket Point are fantastic.

After crossing Jamison Creek above the waterfall, keep an eye out for the small Rocket Point Circuit signpost to find the track leading to the lookout. Perched high on a cliff, the fenced viewing area offers sweeping views of the waterfall and the valley.

7. Lincoln’s Rock

Perched on the Kings Tableland plateau, south of Wentworth Falls, Lincoln’s Rock has become one of the most popular viewpoints in the Blue Mountains.

Easily accessible by car via Tableland Road and Hordern Road, the lookout features a purpose-built car park with a bus drop-off area. From there, it’s a short 200-metre walk to the lookout, a spacious rocky area with plenty of room to explore.

For those who prefer to walk, Lincoln’s Rock can also be reached via the Little Switzerland Trail, which connects with the Rocket Point Lookout Walk closer to the waterfall.
